May. 18th, 2017 09:49 pmBeen a loooooong time since I used Dreamwidth. I used to have one years upon years ago, but rarely used it because I had a Livejournal. However LJ has since gone to supporters of homophobia and so I refuse to post there anymore (save for the one last post I'll make directing people here. It's also a real shame because I used LJ for about 15 years--it was where I met my partner and a lot of my online friends. <3). If you have found this journal via my old LJ, welcome! If you are new here and just somehow stumbled upon this journal randomly, also welcome! A little about me:
~ I am the crazy cat lady your mother warned you about. If it has four legs, purrs and meows, I'm probably going to squeal, comment on how fucking cute it is, and then proceed to pet it...virtually if necessary~ I am happily owned by a mini panther. <3
~ I am a queer woman. More attracted to women than men, but currently in a long term, monogamous relationship with a male-presenting person. I have no issue with those in a poly relationship, I just recognize that it is not for me. I am an advocate for Equality. I am very open and outspoken about this. I do not tolerate MRA's, TERFs, or any other group that seeks to oppress people anywhere on any of my sites.
~ I am an author. I write many things including but not limited to: lesbian YA fiction, lesbian adult fiction, poetry, and spiritual nonfiction. Currently I am self published and adore the freedom that allows me. I like being able to design my own cover and decide what to release next as well as many other things. I guess you could say I like being in control of my own destiny and fate.
~ I am a Pagan. More Heathen than anything other flavor of Pagan. I work for Odin and honor Him in many ways, not the least of which is by writing poetry. I also run a website dedicated to Him and His family. I also work with Brigid a lot. I tend Her flame when my shift comes up and am part of two different cills with the Ord Brigideach. Other deities that occasionally pop up in my life: Freyja, Cerridwen, and Ganesha. I've also worked with Bast and Athena before, though our interactions these days are pretty rare.
